SUMMIT, NJ - A total of 51 new cases of COVID-19 in the City of Summit from November 20-25 were reported by the Westfield Regional Health Department. Summit has seen 211* confirmed cases of the virus so far in November.

The cumulative total number cases in Summit since the pandemic began has been revised, and now stands at 730*.

Of recent cases investigated by the Westfield Regional Health Department, age breakdowns are as follows:

  • Eight (8) cases ages 18 and younger; 
  • Ten (10) cases ages 19 to 24; 
  • One (1) case ages 25 to 29; 
  • Four(4) cases ages 30 to 34; 
  • Six (6) cases age 40 to 44; 
  • Three (3) cases age 45 to 49; 
  • Four (4) cases ages 50 to 54; 
  • Eight (8) cases ages 55 to 59; 
  • One (1) case age 60 to 64; 
  • One (1) case age 65 to 69; 
  • One (1) case age 70 to 74; 
  • One (1) case age 75 to 79;
  • One (1) case age 80 to 84;  
  • One (1) case age 85 to 89; and
  • One (1) case age 90 to 94.
