SUMMIT, NJ - The Summit High School Wrestling Team notched two big wins last week, defeating both New Providence 34-24, and A.L. Johnson 40-33.  The win versus Johnson was the first such win in program history since its reinstatement.

The team, 10-6 on the season, also defeated Millburn 39-34, then triumphed against Plainfield 40-30, before dropping matches to Linden and Hackettstown.
Robby Faris, 138 lbs, Colum Dougherty, 170 lbs, Chris DelliSanti, 113 lbs, Rhajon Venable, 138 lbs, Tanner Thomas, 160 lbs, and Nick Testa 132 lbs., were all designated wrestlers of the respective matches for the Hilltoppers.
The team is home to David Brearley High School home on February 5, and will wrestle in a quad match with Scotch Plains, Columbia and Madison on February 8.
