SUMMIT, NJ - Former longtime Lawton C. Johnson Summit Middle School language arts teacher, Deborah Schwarzmann, and Summit resident and SPP Capital Partners Founder and Managing Partner, Stefan Shaffer, are among four individuals recently named to the Visual Arts Center of New Jersey's Board of Trustees.
The 2013 Union County Teacher of the Year, Schwarzmann taught at LCJSMS for more than twenty-seven years. In addition to his role at SPP Capital Partners, Shaffer is also Managing Partner at SPP Mezzanine Partners. Others tabbed for the Board include Jesse Torrey of Maplewood, a freelance photographer, former art educator and now author of the blog, Smiles and Duct Tape, and David Hardin, a Chatham resident and partner in the Summit office Lindabury, McCormick, Estabrook & Cooper, PC.
