Goblins and witches will march through Summit on Saturday, October 30, 2010 for the Annual Summit PAL Halloween Parade. This spooky tradition has become a seasonal favorite for families in Summit. It’s a free, fun, family event held in the heart of Summit’s business district. The Parade will assemble at 3:30 PM with the march starting at 4:00 PM. Participants are asked to meet at the Bouras Parking Lot at 25 DeForest Avenue, Summit. The Halloween Parade will be held rain or shine. Prizes will be awarded for: cutest, scariest, best group, most original and best overall. Judging takes place at the start of the parade, so be on time! The Parade will make its way from DeForest Avenue to the Village Green. Refreshments will be served on the Village Green during the prize ceremony. Participants may trick or treat prior to the parade through Summit’s Business District. This event is sponsored by the Summit PAL with the cooperation of the City of Summit’s Department of Community Programs. Check out all the details at www.summitpal.com
