SUMMIT, NJ - Competing with her rowing partner in the women's pair, Summit High School senior Kate Klaschka finished 15th at the US Rowing Youth National Championships in Sarasota, FL.

Klaschka and Hunterdon Central High School's Stephanie Santore, who row for the Mountain Lakes Rowing Club, qualified for the event by finishing first at the Mid-Atlantic Youth Championships in May.

Two other Mountain Lakes boats qualified for the Youth Nationals, with the lightweight 4+ and the Varsity 8+ finishing 18th and 23rd, respectively, in their races.
