SUMMIT, NJ - The Summit-based New Jersey Dance Theatre Ensemble (NJDTE) will perform its spring repertory performance, “i Balli di Primavera!” at Montclair University's Memorial Hall May 7 at 2 p.m.

The pre-professional company will present four world premieres by Elizabeth Roxas, a legendary Alvin Ailey American Dance Theater company member, Elizabeth Koeppen-Kalosieh of Parsons Dance, contemporary choreographer Adam Barruch, and NJDTE Artistic Director Nancy Turano. The production features more than 55 talented dancers ages 7-18 from across New Jersey.

“After a successful season of “The Nutcracker” in Montclair this December, enjoyed by over 1,500 enthusiastic local arts patrons, we are excited to share the full range of the Ensemble’s innovative repertory with this thriving cultural community," said Turano. "As a hub for forward-thinking arts initiatives, Montclair is a perfect match for NJDTE and our mission of cultivating contemporary, progressive dance programming and training right here in New Jersey."
