SUMMIT, NJ - Superintendent of Schools June Chang will be the featured guest at a special Speak Up Summit meeting January 21 at Twin Maples. Speak Up Summit is an advocacy group focused on public education in the Hilltop City. The event -- free and open to the public -- is also scheduled to include Summit Public Schools District officials, Board of Education members, as well as community leaders, and begins at 9:30 a.m.,with coffee served at 9 a.m..

Following an update from Chang, attendees will have the opportunity to ask questions of the superintendent and District administrators. The morning will be taped for broadcast by Summit’s Hilltopper TV, which can be seen locally on Verizon Channel 28 or Comcast Channel 964.

Speak Up Summit holds monthly meetings affording its members the opportunity to discuss District news and Policies in a relaxed, informal atmosphere, customarily with District decision makers and administrators in attendance.
