The Connection to Benefit from Mar. 17 Vineyard Vines Shopping Event

Shop the Vineyard Vines Kentucky Derby collection of seriously fun new clothing, accessories, and ties for men, women and kids, to get prepared for a great party hosted by The Connection on May 7th at Canoe Brook Country Club. Remember to mention The Connection and you'll receive a 10% discount while The Connection receives 10% of sales from 11-2:00pm on Thursday, March 17 at Short Hills Mall.

Can't make it to the Mall?  That's ok, you can pre-shop up to 3 days early in person or online! Get all decked out for the Kentucky Derby Party and support The Connection as well.

The Party is held between 4-8pm on the day of the Kentucky Derby, May 7th, featuring an auction and raffle, cocktails and buffet dinner and a fifty-fifty betting board! Attendees can bring their children ages 4+ to The Connection for “Derby Day Care” during the party. The kids will enjoy gymnastics, swimming, a movie, pizza and more. The Kentucky Derby Party supports The Connection’s 2016 Annual Giving Campaign and Scholarship Fund. Donations help The Connection to offer important programs like English as a Second Language, classes for children and adults with special needs and Pathways, supporting women with cancer.

02/01/2018, 7:26 am - FD dispatched to Route 78 East Bound mile marker 47.2 for a reported motor vehicle accident with entrapment and injuries. On arrival both the Springfield and Summit Fire Departments set up for extrication. The vehicle was chocked to stabilize the vehicle. EMS performed patient care. A hose line was stretched for possible fire suppression by the Berkeley Heights FD.
