SUMMIT, NJ - The Concord Singers, a community women's chorus based in Summit, will present a concert of Holiday sacred and secular music entitled "The Spirit Rejoices''. Works by Bach and Elgar will be featured, as well as the Porpora Magnificat, accompanied by strings and continuo.  Arrangements of well-known spirituals, carols and Jewish songs will round out the program.

The Concord winter concert, “The Spirit Rejoices," will take place on December 10, beginning at 7 p.m. at Calvary Episcopal Church, which is located at 31 Woodland Avenue.

The Concord Singers is a women’s community chorus that offers a friendly musical home to both novice and experienced singers. The chorus is under the direction of Christopher Titko and is accompanied by Caroline Parody. New members are welcome.
