SUMMIT, NJ - Non-profit 'Don’t Hide it, Flaunt It!' (DHIFI) will host a private event to showcase and celebrate the 501(c)(3) organization's mission to advance acceptance, understanding, tolerance and mutual respect for a person's blatant or invisible difference.

Founded by its president, Summit resident Meg Zucker, 'Don't Hide It, Flaunt It', creates programming for DHIFI with a goal to encourage people of all ages to flaunt their own differences and ultimately embrace and celebrate what makes us all unique.

The event -- which will include cocktails, appetizers and dessert -- will be held at Twin Maples January 20 and include guest speakers Lauren Tarshis and Nicole Kelly.

Tarshis is the author of the 'I Survived' series, which chronicles the adventures of junior high-age students taking part in historical events. Kelly, a former Miss America contestant and diversity speaker, gained attention for being one of only a few competitors to have ever competed with a physical disability.
