HealthGrades 12th annual "Hospital Quality in America" study, the largest annual report of its kind, recognized 10 New Jersey hospitals with a 2010 HealthGrades Stroke Care Excellence Award. The award designates the hospitals among the top 10% in the nation for stroke care. The following New Jersey hospitals were awarded:

Capital Health — Fuld, Trenton;

Chilton Memorial Hospital, Pompton Plains;

Hackensack University Medical Center, Hackensack;

Holy Name Hospital, Teaneck;

JFK Medical Center, Edison;

Jersey Shore University Medical Center, Neptune;

Monmouth Medical Center, Long Branch;

Ocean Medical Center, Brick;

Overlook Hospital, Summit; and

Robert Wood Johnson University Hospital at Hamilton.
