SUMMIT, NJ - Reeves-Reed Arboretum will hold its first annual 'Festival of Trees, A Multicultural Celebration of the Holidays' on December 13. For health safety reason, the event will feature three time slots -- 11 a.m. to 1 p.m., 1 to 2:30 p.m., and 3 to 4:30 p.m. -- with a limited number of participants for each.
The 'Festival of Trees' will include arts and crafts celebrating Hanukkah, Kwanzaa, Christmas, and the Solstice; musical entertainment; along with food trucks and holiday vendors. The festival's highlight is sure to be the more than 20 festive trees placed around the grounds decorated by local organizations, businesses and families.
Pre-registration, while not required, it is strongly recommended to ensure entry. Regisgtration for both Arboretum members and non-members is now open. Admission is $5 for members and $10 for non-members. Children under 2 are free.
This festival will be held rain or shine; no refunds will be given.
