WEST ORANGE, NJ - Two doctors with local roots -- Dr. Dana Ortiz and Dr. Anne-Marie Tang -- are set to join the Rubino OB/GYN Group of talented practitioners, effective August 6.

Dr. Ortiz, a local resident from West Orange, will work in the flagship West Orange and Clark offices and Dr. Tang, with roots in Whippany, will see patients in the newly renovated Madison and Clark offices.

Dr. Ortiz recently completed her OB/GYN residency at the Hofstra Northwell School of Medicine in Manhasset, NY. She earned a Bachelor of Science in human physiology at Boston University, where she graduated magna cum laude and a Doctor of Medicine from Rutgers, New Jersey School of Medicine.

Dr. Ortiz is part of the exclusive Resident Fellow Forum, which supports the Northwell Health system in developing the strongest, most efficient, and innovative residency programs. She has published articles and presented on topics including postpartum hemorrhage and blood transfusions, Lupus in pregnancy and endometrial cancer. Earlier in 2018, Dr. Ortiz won the Chief Resident Leadership Award and was recognized for an Outstanding Resident Paper by the New York Obstetrical Society.

Dr. Tang joins The Rubino OB/GYN Group after spending four years as a resident physician in the OB/GYN department at the Rutgers New Jersey Medical School. She received a Bachelor of Arts in neurosciences and French from Drew University, graduating summa cum laude. She earned a Doctor of Medicine from Rutgers, the New Jersey School of Medicine.

Dr. Tang was a teaching and research assistant at Rutgers in chemistry and for the summer medicine and dentistry program. She has presented on topics including preeclampsia, management of blood pressure postpartum and premature ovarian insufficiency.
