SUMMIT, NJ - A breathtaking return and a triumphant return were the highlights that determined the Salerno Duane Summit Football Players of the Game for the Hilltoppers 45-8 clocking of Warren Hills.

Senior Tyrone Hines scored two touchdowns, a 30-yard rainbow from classmate Skyler Schluter in the second quarter and a sizzling 85-yard kick-off return to open the second half.

Senior captain Jack Kelly returned to the field for the first time since suffering a major injury, and the linebacker made an immediate impact with five tackles, including two for a loss of yardage.

Summit, now 2-0 on the season, will next play North Hunterdon September 22 in a 1 p.m. kick-off at Investors Bank Field.

The Salerno Duane Summit Football Players of the Game Award is collaboration between Salerno Duane Jeep Chrysler Jeep Dodge Ram of Summit and TAPinto Summit which, after each Summit High School Varsity Football game, will honor Hilltopper players -- as designated by the coaching staff -- for their performance(s).
