First and second graders at Summit’s Washington School enjoyed “Theater Week” from November 15-19.

Made possible with funding from the Summit Performing Arts Resource Committee (SPARC), the program featured daily, hour-long improvisational theater work shops led by staff from Dreamcatcher Repertory Theatre in South Orange. Participating first and second graders experienced the performing arts in an age-appropriate way, and showcased their newly learned skills for parents at the end of the week.
