Boy Scout Troop 67 from Summit recently completed a large community service project, delivering more than 1,000 flyers all over Summit and then -- one week later -- collecting food donations.
The Scouts delivered the provisions to St. Teresa's Loaves and Fishes Program and filled the pantry's shelves. The Loaves and Fishes Program donates between 45 - 60 bags of food each week to needy families in Summit. The Boy Scouts meet every Monday at 7:30 p.m. at St. Teresa of Avila's Memorial Hall.
