SUMMIT, NJ - A woman pushing a double baby stroller across Broad Street at the intersection of Elm Street was hit by a vehicle driven by a Springfield resident Thursday at 11:28 a.m.
The two small children and their care giver were all transported Morristown Memorial Hospital with injuries that are not life-threatening, according to Summit police.
According to John Staunton of the Summit Volunteer First Aid Squad, the Squad responded with 2 ambulances and transported both children to Morristown Medical Center with minor injuries. A paramedic unit from Overlook also accompanied the Squad crew. The care giver was also transported to Morristown Medical Center for evaluation.
No further information was available on the condition of the three victims.
