Summit's Schwartz to Receive State Bar Family Law Lifetime Achievement Award

Brian M. Schwartz, Esq.

SUMMIT, NJ - The New Jersey State Bar Association Family Law Section will present Brian M. Schwartz the Saul Tischler Award for Lifetime Achievement. The award recognizes contributions to advancing the development of family law and the profession, service to the legal community, and dedication to family law issues through teaching and advocacy.

Schwartz has been a member of the Family Law Executive Committee of the New Jersey Family Law Section, and became Chair of the Family Law Section in 2013. During his term, he led a team which negotiated the terms of the new alimony law, and lobbied for its ultimate passage in September 2014.

He also sits on the Supreme Court Family Law Practice Committee since 2013.  

A graduate of University of Pittsburgh School of Law, Schwartz and his family reside in Summit.
