5/29 - Mark L. Howard, 21, of Nutley was arrested and charged with burglary, theft by unlawful taking and credit card fraud. Mr. Howard was processed and released with a pending court date.

5/29 - At 1143 hours a report was taken for a theft of stolen license plate from a River Road business. The victim reported the last time the license plate was seen on the property was within the past thirty (30) days. Value of the license plate at the time of the report was not known.

5/29 - At 1200 hours a report was taken for a theft of a laptop from a Morris Avenue residence. The victim reported the theft occurred between 1900 hours on 5/25 and 1800 hours on 5/28. The laptop was described as a Dell Chromebook valued at approximately $400.00.

5/29 - At 1932 hours a report was taken for a theft of a wallet form a motor vehicle. The victim reported the incident occurred sometime between 1800 hours on 5/28 and 1142 hours on 5/29. The victim reported that the vehicle had been parked in several places during those times, possibly unsecured. Taken from the vehicle was a brown leather Coach wallet, with multiple personal credit cards and forms of ID, in addition to approximately $75.00 cash. The victim’s credit cards had been utilized for approximately $1,040.99 in fraudulent charges. Total value of stolen items and fraudulent charges was approximately $1,320.99.

5/30 - Silvia P. Urbina Ponce, 33, of Union was subsequently arrested on an ICE Detainer Warrant which was located during a motor vehicle investigation. Ms. Urbina Ponce was processed and custody was turned over to ICE Officers.

5/31 - At 1044 hours a report was taken for a theft of savings bonds from a Colt Road residence. The victim reported the bonds had last been seen around April 2016. At the time of the report the exact value of the savings bonds was not known, but it was estimated to be between $40,000-$50,000.00.

6/3 - At 1403 hours a report was taken for a lost or stolen wallet. The incident occurred at approximately 2130 hours on 6/2 at a Morris Avenue business. The victim relayed that the wallet may have fallen out of a pocket at the business. It was described as a brown leather Coach wallet that contained miscellaneous personal documents in addition to $50.00 cash. Total value of the lost/stolen item(s) was approximately $125.00.

6/4 - Craig M. Culver, 43, of Chatham Township was arrested and charged with shoplifting. Mr. Culver was processed and released with a pending court date.

6/4 - Tonisha M. Peterson, 29, of Jersey City was arrested on three contempt of court warrants out of Jersey City. Ms. Peterson was processed and released with a pending court date.

6/5 - Emmanuel Akondti Awuro, 38, of Lower Maryland, Maryland was arrested and charged with theft by deception and wrongful impersonation by obtaining and utilizing another’s identification. Mr. Awuro was processed and transported to the Union County Jail where custody was transferred.

6/5 - Patrick D. Vermilyea, 44, of Summit was arrested and charged with armed robbery and possession of a weapon for an unlawful purpose. Mr. Vermilyea was processed and transported to the Union County Jail where custody was transferred.

6/5 - At 2114 hours a report was taken for a theft from two unsecured motor vehicles parked in the driveway of a Primrose Place residence. The victim reported the incident occurred between 0000 hours and 0730 hours. Taken from the vehicles were a maroon baseball bag, one (1) Easton aluminum baseball bat, one (1) Mizuno wooden baseball bat, one (1) Mizuno royal blue helmet, one (1) Mizuno brown and black baseball glove, one (1) pair of white and blue Nike batting gloves, one (1) clear green water bottle. Total value of the stolen items was approximately $440.00.

6/6 - At 1203 hours a report was taken for a theft from a Garden Road residence. The victim reported the incident occurring sometime in the last month when several items were removed from a residence. Taken from the home were one (1) box of arrowheads, one (1) velvet plaque with antique coins, one (1) foreign coin collection, one (1) Turkish saber, one (1) Rosewood box, four (4) German beer steins, and two (2) Bing & Gronded figurines. At the time of the report, the victim was unable to provide a value of the stolen items.

6/9 - Primitivo Bravo-Guerrero, 37, of Summit was arrested and charged with providing alcohol to an underage minor. Mr. Bravo-Guerrero was processed and released with a pending court date.

6/10 - Leoncio Crisostomo-Javier, 56, of Passaic was arrested on a contempt of court warrant out of Madison. Mr. Crisostomo- Javier was processed and released with a pending court date.

6/11 - At 1707 hours a report was taken for a theft of a bicycle from the Summit Train Station. The victim reported the incident occurred between 0655 hours and 1700 hours. Secured to the bicycle rack, the black and blue Giant Escape-2 was valued at approximately $450.00.

6/11 - At 1837 hours a report was taken for a theft of a bicycle from the Summit Train Station. The victim reported the incident occurred between 0705 hours and 1830 hours. Secured to the bicycle rack, the black Scott Metrix bicycle, valued at approximately $800.00.

6/14 - Alriche Zamy, 33, of Hollywood, Florida was arrested on a fugitive from justice warrant out of Palm Beach County Florida. Mr. Zamy was processed and awaiting extradition to Florida.

6/15 - At 1845 hours a report was taken for a theft from the Tatlock Field fieldhouse. The victim reported that twelve (12) inflated Wilson footballs, stamped with the Summit football logo, were last seen at the end of the football season in December 2017. Total value of the stolen items is approximately $780.00.
