• 10/19- At 1718 hours a report was taken for a theft of cash from an unsecured residence on Morris Avenue. The victim reported the incident occurred sometime between 0600 hours and 1645 hours on this date. Taken from a small wooden chest in a bedroom was approximately $500.00 in cash in miscellaneous denominations.

• 10/19- At 2202 hours a report was taken for a theft of cash from a wallet. The victim reported to have left a pink trifold wallet inside of a purse near a bench at Washington School between 2135 and 2140 hours. The wallet was located with approximately $30.00 in cash missing.

• 10/20- At 1152 hours a report was taken for criminal mischief to a Portland Road residence. The victim reported the incident occurred sometime in the overnight hours between 2200 hours on 10/19 and 0900 hours on 10/20. Damaged at the residence were miscellaneous Halloween decorations. Total value of the items damaged and/or destroyed was approximately $50.00.

• 10/20- At 1907 hours a report was taken for a theft of political signs from a Plymouth Road residence. The victim reported the incident occurred sometime between 1330 hours and 1730 hours on this date. The value of the signs at the time of the report was not known.

• 10/25- At 0826 hours a report was taken for a theft of a political sign from a Tulip Street residence. The victim reported the incident occurred at approximately 1836 hours on 10/23. It was reported that silver colored, 4-door vehicle pulled up to the residence where male in a gray, hooded sweatshirt exited the vehicle, removed the sign from the front yard and placed into the car. The suspect then drove off. Total value of the sign at the time of the report was not known.

• 10/29- Steven D. Tracy, of Ocala, Florida, was arrested on a contempt of court warrant out of Summit. Mr. Ocala was subsequently transported to Union County Jail after being processed where custody was transferred to their officers.

• 10/29- At 0704 hours a report was taken for a theft from an unsecured motor vehicle that had been parked in the driveway of a Huntley Road residence. The victim reported the incident occurred sometime in the overnight hours between 1800 hours on 10/28 and 0645 hours on 10/29. At the time of the report, the only item taken appeared to be the insurance card for the vehicle.

• 10/29- At 0826 hours a report was taken for a theft from an unsecured motor vehicle that had been parked in the driveway of a Huntley Road residence. The victim reported the incident occurred sometime in the overnight hours between 1600 hours on 10/28 and 0815 hours on 10/29. Taken from the unsecured vehicle were loose change and several dollar bills. At the time of the report, the exact amount was unknown.

• 10/30- Andrew W. Johnson, 31, of South Amboy was arrested on a contempt of court warrant out of Summit. Mr. Johnson was processed and released with a pending court date.

• 10/30- At 2121 hours a report was taken for a theft from a residence on Springfield Avenue. The victim reported the incident occurred between 1200 hours on 10/25 and 1920 hours on 10/30. Taken from the residence were 1-14 karat wedding band, 1- pair of gold earrings, 1- glass bracelet, 1- gold ring with a large pearl inset, 1- gold ring with a large turquoise stone, and 1- gold ring with multi-colored stones in the shape of a dome. The total value that was available at the time of the report was approximately $300.00.

• 10/31- At 2039 hours a report was taken for a theft of a bicycle at the Train Station. The incident occurred on this date between 0515 hours and 1930 hours. The bicycle, described as a black/charcoal Escape 3M Satin, had been secured to the bicycle rack with a lock. The victim valued the bicycle at approximately $380.00.

• 11/02- At 1716 hours a theft report was taken from a Broad Street business. The victim reported the incident occurred on 10/31 at approximately 0932 hours. The two suspects entered the business where suspect one, a white female with blonde hair, wearing a gray sweatshirt and black sweatpants distracted the cashier. The second suspect, a white male with black hair, wearing a black shirt and camouflage pants removed three (3) Monster energy drinks and a bag of potato chips from a shelf. The two suspects then exited the store and left the area in a black Honda. The total amount of stolen items was approximately $10.36.

• 11/04- At 1453 hours a report was taken for a theft of political lawn signs from a Whittredge Road residence. The victim reported the theft occurred between 1200 and 1400 hours on this date. Taken from the front yard of the residence were ten (10) signs valued at approximately $50.00.

• 11/5- Ezequiel Cordero, 37, of Far Rockaway, New York was arrested and charged with a contempt of court warrant out of Morristown, criminal trespass and resisting arrest. Mr. Cordero was processed and transported to the Union County Jail were custody was subsequently turned over to their officers.

• 11/5- Damion N. Britt, 22, of Elizabeth was arrested on several contempt of court warrants out of Elizabeth and Jersey City. Mr. Britt was able to post bail, processed and released with a pending court date.
