07/03 - At 0817 hours a report was taken for a theft of a bicycle from a Summit Avenue residence. The victim reported the theft occurred sometime in the prior ten (10) days. The bicycle, a blue Cannondale Road Bike, had been secured with a combination cable lock to a rack in a storage room of the residence. The victim reported the estimated value of the bicycle at the time of the theft to be approximately $2,200.00.
07/06 - At 2353 hours a report was taken for a theft of package from the front steps of a Badeau Avenue residence. The victim reported that a notification from the camera system was received at 2247 hours, showing a black female, wearing a blue hair tie, blue tank top and black pants was removing the package from the front steps of the residence. At the time of the theft, the only items taken were paper towels, valued at approximately $30.00.
07/11 - At 0733 hours a report was taken for a theft of a motor vehicle from the driveway of a Midland Terrace residence. The victim reported to have last seen the vehicle, a 2018 white BMW X3, at approximately 2100 hours. The vehicle, which had previously been stolen and returned, with one (1) of the key fobs missing, did not have the remaining key fob in the vehicle at the time of the theft. The vehicle was valued at approximately $35,000.00 at the time of the theft.
07/12 - At 1023 hours a report was taken for an attempted burglary/theft to/of a motor vehicle parked in the driveway to a Dale Drive residence. The victim reported the incident occurred at approximately 0351 hours on 07/11, when an unknown actor attempted to gain entry to the victim’s secured vehicle. The suspect was described as a tall, thinly built, dark skinned male, wearing a dark colored hooded sweatshirt, dark colored sweatpants and dark colored Nike “Air Jordan” style shoes with white accents.
07/15 - At 0836 hours a report was taken for a burglary to an unsecured motor vehicle parked in the driveway to an Oak Ridge Avenue residence. The victim reported the incident occurred between 1730 hours on 07/14 and 0827 hours on 07/15. At the time of the report, the victim believed nothing to have been missing as the key fob had not been left inside the vehicle.
7/17 - At 1129 hours a report was taken for a theft from a Glenwood Place residence. The victim reported the incident occurred between 07/01 and 07/03. Taken from the victim’s residence were one (1) gold banded ring with one (1) diamond and one (1) amethyst stone laid in the ring, and $180.00 in cash. The total value of the stolen items was approximately $1,180.00.
07/18 - At 1548 hours a report was taken for a theft of a safe from an unsecured motor vehicle. The incident occurred sometime between 0930 hours and 1400 hours. The safe contained numerous personal documents, in addition to approximately $600.00 in foreign currency, one (1) Louis Vuitton blue leather document holder, valued at $1,500.00, one (1) platinum engagement ring valued at $35,000.00, and one (1) white gold wedding band valued at $500.00. The total value of stolen items was approximately $37,800.00.
07/20 - At 1145 hours a report was taken for a theft of money from a tip jar at a Beechwood Road business. The incident occurred at approximately 1115 hours on the same date. Security cameras captured an individual described as a tall, skinny, black male wearing a white sleeveless tank top or vest and dark colored pants reaching into the tip jar two (2) times and removed an undetermined amount of money, but believed to be between $10.00-$15.00 in miscellaneous bills and coins.
