Art in Autumn Opening Reception

Pathways, a program of The Connection, is hosting their 10th Annual Art Exhibit to honor women cancer survivors.

20 pieces of artwork, created by both novice and professional survivors/artists, will be on display from through the month of October in celebration of ovarian and breast cancer awareness months.

A public wine and cheese reception will be held on Thursday, October 3 from 6:30 – 8 p.m. to kick off the event, with artists available for conversation. The collection includes pastels, watercolors, oil paintings, canvas, photography, and two shawls. If you see any pieces you love, the artwork is for sale! All artists are generously donating a percentage of proceeds to benefit Pathways.

Pathways, one of the only local organizations that provides direct services to women with cancer, is committed to empowering women to recognize their strengths and encouraging them to make choices that enable them to become their own self-care advocates.
