'Ashes To-Go' at Summit Train Station

In the early morning hours of Ash Wednesday, Calvary Church Clergy and Parishioners will offer ashes and prayers for commuters and travelers who would like them.  Ash Wednesday marks the beginning of the season of Lent, the first of the forty days as Christians prepare for Easter. It is so named for the custom of placing blessed ashes on the foreheads of worshipers at Ash Wednesday services.  The pubic is also invited to attend one of several Ash Wednesday services offered at Calvary Church throughout the day.
