Woodstock Fifty Years Later Topic at Summit Old Guard Meeting

Summit Old Guard member, Nolan Asch, will provide an informative, and no doubt entertaining, discussion of Woodstock, the music festival held between August 15-18, 1969, which attracted an audience of more than 400,000. Nolan is a 1971 graduate of Columbia University, and during the late 1960’s, he worked with a number of rock ’n’ roll bands in Westchester County. Nolan attended the Woodstock festival from before the beginning until after the end. The presentation will take place at the United Methodist Church, 1441 Springfield Ave., New Providence on August 20 beginning at 9.30 am until 11.30 am.
