Members of the Summit Volunteer First Aid Squad answered 148 9-1-1 emergency calls during the month of February. These included 84 medical emergencies; 13 motor vehicle accidents, 10 traumatic injuries; 3 pedestrians struck by a vehicle; 17 falls, 7 reports of poisoning, 1 allergic reaction, 6 medical alarm activations; and 2 animal bites.
