SUMMIT, NJ - Both the Summit Board of Education Budget Hearing and the subsequent Board of School Estimate (BOSE) Hearing had to be postponed due to an inoperative livestream link which prevented the public from watching the meetings remotely. Both meetings have been rescheduled for April 2 beginning at 6 and 6:30 p.m., respectively.
Following the glitch, the Summit Public Schools posted the following on its Facebook page:
"Due to technical difficulties, the Board of Education and Board of School Estimate meetings are rescheduled to Thursday, April 2, 2020 with the same time slots of 6 p.m. and 6:30 p.m. A formal notice will be sent out when details are finalized. We apologize for any inconvenience. Thank you for your patience and understanding."
Public comment for either / both meetings is available through the following:
- Direct question(s) and-or comment(s) in an email to firstname.lastname@example.org
- Remember to Include name, address, and which meeting the question(s) / comment(s) apply
