SUMMIT, NJ - The world-renown Coppo wines of the Piedmont region will be paired with Piattino: A Neighborhood Bistro's creative Italian cuisine in a unique wine dinner on February 26, beginning at 7 p.m., at Piattino in Summit. Luigi Coppo will be present to personally introduce his wines to dinner guests.
The unique menu -- and the wine pairings -- will include:
Scallops crudo-Basil and citrus vinaigrette, pickled chili’s, squid ink crisp - Gavi 18
Sweet potato ravioli- Brown butter and mascarpone filling, hazelnut sauce and port wine syrup - Coppo Barbera d'Asti Camp du Rouss 2015
Chicken duo- pan roasted Breast, crispy lollipop, silken cauliflower, baby carrots, lollipop kale and natural jus - Barbera pomorosa 16
Passion Fruit Tart- macerated raspberries, white chocolate shavings, raspberry syrup - Moscato
