MORRISTOWN, NJ - 40NORTH Restaurant Group eateries-- including The Office Tavern Grill and Piattino: A Neighborhood Bistro in Summit -- have partnered with Alzheimer's New Jersey throughout the month of November to offer, In honor of Alzheimer’s Awareness Month, delicious menu items unique to each location and a crafted specialty cocktail that is naturally colored purple for the entire month – the color synonymous with the fight against Alzheimer’s.
Unique and flavorful options will range from a spicy Blackberry & Jalapeño Grilled Cheese to a Purple Cauliflower and Beet Salad. Proceeds from the sales of each specialty menu item will be donated to Alzheimer’s New Jersey, and will be available in eight locations at concepts including The Office Tavern Grill, Piattino: A Neighborhood Bistro, George + Martha’s American Grille and more.

Alzheimer’s New Jersey is an independent, Garden State-based nonprofit providing continuous hope and support for those battling Alzheimer’s disease and other dementias in New Jersey’s local communities. Revenue from special partnerships prove crucial in the mission of Alzheimer’s New Jersey to support the needs of the 600,000 New Jersey residents impacted by Alzheimer’s and other dementias.
Funds raised throughout November will contribute to programs and services such as care consultations, family support groups, community education programs, the Alzheimer’s New Jersey Helpline, the Respite Care and Wellness Program, the Always Safe® Initiative and the Clinical Trial Connections program. One hundred percent of the funds raised will benefit individuals and families in New Jersey.

Participating 40NORTH Restaurants and the specialty menu items they are offering:
- George + Martha’s American Grille:
- Blackberry & Jalapeño Grilled Cheese – Cheddar, fontina and blackberry jalapeño jam on sourdough bread
- Black Horse Tavern:
- Roasted Purple Eggplant – Cous cous, spicy Romanesco sauce and braised red cabbage.
- The Office Tavern Grill (Summit, Ridgewood & Morristown):
- Beet & Gorgonzola Flatbread – Red onion, mozzarella and sage.
- TOWN Bar + Kitchen:
- Purple Cauliflower and Beet Salad – Arugula, almonds and truffle vinaigrette
- Piattino: A Neighborhood Bistro (Summit & Mendham):
- Beet & Gorgonzola Pizza – Caramelized red onions, mozzarella, sage and olive oil.
The signature drink will be offered at all 40NORTH concepts:
- Purple Bliss – Tito’s Vodka, lemon juice, simple syrup, blue curacao and grenadine
