SUMMIT, NJ - Sinatra, Springsteen and the Sopranos are just three of the iconic people, places and things that make New Jersey a special place. From a culinary perspective, the Garden State has its own line-up of stars -- such as blueberries, corn, cranberries, peaches, and sweet, juicy ruby-red tomatoes -- not to mention an impossible-to-not-love diner culture that helped elevate 'comfort food' to cult status.
Now The Office Tavern Grill is celebrating its Jersey roots by featuring the state on its 'Road Trip USA' menu. Selections include:
'Turnpike Exit 4 Cheesesteak Appetizer
Braised short ribs served on garlic toast with fizzeled onions, goat cheese and truffle oil.
Creamy Roasted Tomato Soup
Extra virgin olive oil and crispy basil.
Trenton Tomato Pie Flatbread
Your favorite cheese pizza turned upside down with pulled mozzarella on the bottom and sauce on top. Topped with Taylor Ham and cherry peppers.
The Tavern Fat Sandwich
Country-fried chicken tenders, mozzarella, basil tomato on a toasted artisan roll with hand-cut fries and side of gravy.
North Jersey Steakhouse
A red wine-marinated 10 oz. flatiron steak, Yukon gold and cheddar gratin, demi glaze and watercfress.
Plus, the Office Tavern Grill will feature special New Jersey craft beer selections to compliment the menu.
Known for their modern twists on American comfort classics, forty rotating beer, prosecco, and root beer taps, along with their hand crafted cocktail and wine lists, the Office Tavern Grill can be found in Summit, Morristown, Ridgewood and recently opened their fourth locaton in East Hanover.
