SUMMIT, NJ - Those looking for a way to give back to the community and truly make a difference are encouraged to conrtact Pathways where, just once a week, the organization is seeking volunteer drivers to deliver nutritious, organic meals prepared by Pathways Cooks volunteers to women undergoing cancer treatment and their families.
Pathways, a program of The Connection in Summit, provides an oasis of hope for women with cancer. For 25 years, Pathways’ mission has remained the same: to provide support, education and wellness programs, free-of-charge, for women with cancer, creating a community in which shared experiences lead to personal growth and healing.
Pathways is the only local cancer organization that provides direct services on a personal level to women in our area with cancer or a history of cancer.
Pathways Cooks serves Union, Essex and Morris Counties. Delivery is every Wednesday, September 18 through October 16 and November 13 through December 11. Meals can be picked up by volunteer drivers between 3:30 and 6 p.m. at The Connection, located at 79 Maple Street.
