SUMMIT and SHORT HILLS, NJ - Dressing up for Halloween like one's favorite ghoul, goblin, ghost, superhero, princess or cartoon character -- and partaking in some Trick or Treating -- is one of fall's fun favorites for youngsters.

Unfortunately, some children may not get the chance to enjoy this tradition as they do not have access to a costume. The Prominent Properties Sotheby's International Realty regional offices in both Summit and Short Hills are stepping up to do something about that, hosting a Costume Collection Drive through October 15.

Community members are asked to bring a new -- or gently-worn -- costume to either the Summit or Short Hills offices. All collected costumes will be distributed by Family Promise and the Junior League of Summit's G.R.A.C.E. project.

The donated costumes will have a shelf life beyond Halloween, as they will be used for general dress-up playtime, allowing kids to be kids.

The Prominent Properties Sotheby's International Realty Summit office is located at 309 Springfield Avenue, with the Short Hills office located at 555 Millburn Avenue.
