SUMMIT, NJ - The City of Summit is asking residents to conduct municipal business remotely, using phone, email or online connections -- prior to visiting City Hall or any City office location -- to help safeguard the health and wellbeing of themselves, the community and City staff.

The City is continuing to closely monitor developments in the global outbreak of coronavirus disease (COVID-19), providing daily updates on new mitigation practices and protocols being implemented citywide on the city's digital footprint (website and social media channels).

While there remains a high level of uncertainty about the potential impact of the virus, City officials are initiating a number of practices to help promote containment of it. Before coming to City Hall or any city office location, please consider whether or not business could be conducted remotely online or by calling or emailing the department that provides the required service.
