SUMMIT, NJ - Downtown employee parking permits will expire September 1, with individual reminded to renew their permits no later than August 31.

Those seeking to secure a parking permit must confirm employment in the Central Retail Business District by having an employer or manager sign a Downtown Employee Application Form. The cost of an annual parking permit is $10; $5 for employees age 62 or older.

Required documents during the online registration process include a valid vehicle registration and insurance card, for leased vehicles only. Employees age 62 or older are required to upload a valid driver’s license. All employees will need to input a vehicle license plate number, and provide a credit card for payment. Individuals without computer access are instructed to call the Parking Services Agency (PSA) at 908-522-5100 or visit the PSA office.

The PSA office is located at City Hall -- 512 Springfield Avenue -- and is open Mondays - Thursdays, from 8 a.m. to 4:30 p.m. and Fridays, from 8 a.m. to 1 p.m.
