MORRISTOWN, NJ - Atlantic Health System’s Goryeb Children’s Hospital has opened its expanded Valerie Fund Children’s Center, a facility designed to meet the comprehensive, personalized medical care needs of children and adolescents with cancer and blood disorders,

The new Valerie Fund Children’s Center at Goryeb Children’s Hospital includes eight open and private infusion bays for chemotherapy and blood work, four new exam and consultation rooms, a large procedure room, private family lounge and playroom, providing valuable additional space to meet the growing needs of the community.

The Valerie Fund Children’s Center at Goryeb Children’s Hospital is also part of a pediatric brain and spine tumor program that features a multidisciplinary team of pediatric oncologists, neurosurgeons, psychologists, neurologists, neuroradiologists, ophthalmologists, social workers and physical therapists.

The Valerie Fund Children's Center project is part of an $11.5 million to expand and renovate Goryeb Children's Hospital spearheaded by the Foundation for Morristown Medical Center, whose mission is to inspire community philanthropy to advance exceptional health care for patients at Morristown Medical Center and Goryeb Children’s Hospital.

Established in 1995, donors have contributed more than $175 million to support both Morristown Medical Center and Goryeb Children’s Hospital over the past decade alone.
