SUMMIT, NJ - The number of new, confirmed COVID-19 cases in the City of Summit appears to be markedly slowing, a view buoyed by the news that the New Jersey State Department of Health reported no new cases in Summit on May 21.

Summit's total number of confirmed cases since the pandemic's onset remains at 197.

There have been seven cases reported since May 15, with three days over that week-long span -- May 17, 19 and today -- reporting zero new patients. May 14 also was a day with no new cases reported.
