SUMMIT, NJ - The COVID-19 pandemic has now claimed seven Summit lives as the Westfield Regional Health Department has informed the City of Summit of two additional recent fatalities.

One of the deceased patients is associated with a long-term care facility. Four of the seven reported deaths are associated with a long-term care facility.

Also on April 27, The New Jersey State Department of Health informed the City of Summit of three new positive cases of the COVID-19 coronavirus in Summit, NJ, bringing its total number of confirmed cases to 164.
