SUMMIT, NJ - The annual St Teresa of Avila Good Friday Blood Drive will take place April 10, from 1 - 7 p.m. Normally held at St Teresa of Avila Church, the Drive has been moved to the Hubbard Gym at the Summit YMCA in order to provide additional safety to both donors and Red Cross staff.

Those wishing to donate are notified that no walk-ins will be accepted, with appointments available by visiting redcrossblood.org (and entering: st teresa of avila in the search box) or call 1-800-RED CROSS (1-800-733-2767).

No guests / children will be admitted with donors, with those who provided donor transportation asked to remain in their vehicles. Donors themselves are to wait in their vehicles until 5 minutes prior to their appointments, at which time they should enter though the YMCA's rear entrance.

To speed up the medical portion of the appointment

To help expedite the entire process, donors are asked to use Rapid Pass in advance of the day of the Drive.
