SUMMIT, NJ - Programs, events and activities -- both within Summit and adjacent to the Hilltop City -- continue to be postponed or canceled as a precautionary measure related to the coronavirus (COVID-19).
The latest announcemewnts include:
Bridges Outreach's 'Bridgefest'
Scheduled for May 2 on the rooftop of One Deforest, the event will now be a online 'virtual gala' with an online auction launching May 2.
Summit Repair Café
The March 28 Repair Café event has been canceled. Organizers project a rescheduled date sometime in September.
Suburban Chamber Awards Dinner, Networking Events
The event, set for April 1, has been postponed until the fall. In addition, 'First Friday' events are postponed until at least May 1, and 'Wine Down Wednesday' events are postponed until April 22, at the earliest.
The Film Society of Summit
Screenings of 'Citizen K', set for March 27, and 'The New Bauhaus', scheduled for March 13, have been postponed. The latter film is now set to be shown May 1. No new date for 'Citizen K' has been announced.
