SUMMIT, NJ - Fall's rich bounty -- crisp weather, tasty seasonal fare and the warmth and splendor of golden autumn colors -- will be celebrated in earnest with family, friends, flora and fauna alike when Reeves-Reed Arboretum hosts 'Celebrate Fall', on October 20, from 11 a.m. - 3 p.m.

And yes, the glorious goats are back.

Direct from Rhinebeck, NY, 'Nature's Lawnmowers' will triumphantly return to clear the Arboretum’s historic Daffodil Bowl and, of course, to provide comic relief with their antics and gentle good-natured roaming about. As is tradition, fans of the four-legged frolickers can sponsor their very own green goat and receive a Genuine Certificate of 'Good Goatsmanship' by visiting reeves-reedarboretum.org.

The day’s festivities will also include games and crafts, face painting, a spooky trail, apple cidering, seasonal cooking demonstrations and special honey tasting with Arboretum Environmental Educator Althea Llewellyn, along with food trucks.

Prominent Properties Sotheby's International Realty in Summit will be on hand to offer complimentary photos for the kiddos -- and those still young at heart -- taken with a top-secret 'furry friend', as well as raffling off a super-cool child's ride-on car.

Admission to free to Reeves-Reed Arboretum members and $10 / person ($25 / family) for non-members. Children under the age of three are free.

This year, RRA is partnering with Summit Helping Its People (SHIP) to collect food for the hungry. Attendees are asked to bring a non-perishable food item with them. Collection bins will be located at the entrance. For a list of items needed, visit reeves-reedarboretum.org.
