SUMMIT, NJ - As part of a Summit Free Public Library card sign-up month promotion, 18 Hilltop City businesses have partnered with the Library to offer discounts on products and services during the month of September.
Local participating businesses include the Summit YMCA, Bonji Bowls, all three Summit Dunkin Donuts locations), The Eatery, Edible Arrangements, Esperanza Salon & Spa, Girl from Ipanema Spa, Joe’s Ristorante & Pizzeria, Juice Caboose, Kidville, Marigolds, Pokay, Schroth & Lorenson.Scotti’s Record Shop, Smoothie King, Summit Health Shoppe, Sweet Nothings, Twisted and the UPS Store of Summit.
“We are delighted to have so many of our local businesses supporting the library’s mission during the month of September,” said Susan Permahos, Director at the Summit Free Public Library. “The Library is the heart of the community, and our local businesses are the soul. We appreciate their commitment to promoting literacy and strengthening community, whether through supporting our Summer Reading Programs or Library Card Sign-up Month, our local businesses are an important partner and we are thankful for their dedication to the community and, in particular, the Library.”
Consumers should look for signs displayed by these local businesses, as well as around town, for details on specific offers. The ‘Show Your Library Card’ promotion runs from September 1 - 30. To obtain a Library card, visit the Summit Free Public Library at 75 Maple Street and remember to bring a driver’s license or a recent bill or lease that shows a Summit address.
Employees in local businesses who are not residents are also eligible for a Summit Free Public Library card, and should bring a recent pay stub as proof of local employment.
