SUMMIT, NJ - The Junior League of Summit Thrift Shop serves as the primary fundraiser for the good works that the Junior League of Summit bestows and performs, such as grants, projects, programs and scholarships.

For shoppers from the Hilltop City and surrounding communities, however, the shop will -- in the month of September -- also serve up a family membership to the Turtle Back Zoo. That's because, for every $25 spent at the Thrift Shop during the month, shoppers will will receive an entry to win a one-year family membership to zoo, with the winner will be chosen at the Shop's annual Halloween costume event October 3.

The Junior League of Summit Thrift Shop in Summit, located at 37 DeForest Avenue, was established in 1934 and offers new and gently used clothing and shoes for men, women and children, toys, decorative items for the home, housewares, and furniture that is deeply discounted. Since its inception, the Shop has raised more than  $3 million benefiting Summit and surrounding communities.
