SUMMIT, NJ - After hoisting Old Glory up the Soldier's Memorial Field flagpole, Hilltop City residents got right down to business of celebrating the Fourth of July in style.

Literally.

In an event scaled-down to comply with state-mandated COVID-19 restrictions, which meant no evening revelry, live music or fireworks, there may not have been any rockets but the was some red glare, courtesy of some All-American outfits in the traditional 'Kids Decorated Bicycle Parade' and a 'patriotic dress contest' and seniors walk.
