SUMMIT, NJ - The Westfield Regional Health Department, along with the City of Summit, is warning against the feeding of -- or interacting with -- wildlife and stray animals.

As the season brings warmer weather, wildlife may begin to emerge in residential areas, and Summit residents are cautioned to take precaution and call the Summit Police Department non-emergency phone number at 908-273-0051 when encountering wildlife that appears aggressive or distressed.
