SUMMIT, NJ - The Summit Free Public Library will present best-selling author and record 48-time Moth StorySLAM and GrandSLAM champion Matthew Dicks, who will lead a virtual storytelling workshop on July 29, beginning at 7 p.m.

Conducted via Zoom, Dicks will teach the art of personal storytelling in an engaging and entertaining workshop that requires absolutely no previous experience or training in storytelling. Novices and those who or have some experience getting up in front of an audience alike will receive tips and guidance that will build confidence and develop skills for both personal and professional success.

Author of the best-selling book, Storyworthy: Engage, Teach, Persuade, and Change Your Life through the Power of Storytelling, Dicks will help improve participants' communication skills, challenging all to grow and reach into their past to explore their own history and past life experiences and how they can be woven into stories they can share.
