SUMMIT, NJ - Ready to step into the Halloween spirit and, perhaps, meet a few Halloween spirits along the path?
Those ghoulishly genial folks from the City of Summit Department of Community Programs Department are inviting Hilltop City residents to take a hike -- a 'Haunted Hike' at that.
Designed to be so much fun it is downright scary, the 'Haunted Hike' will take place on Friday, October 11, at Martin's Brook Park in Summit. Even better, the madness is modular, with two separate hikes scheduled:
6 - 7 p.m. -- A less scary hike for younger children.
7 - 8 p.m. -- A very scary hike will take place, featuring spooky characters that jump out along the trail.
Note: Adult supervision is required for any child in fourth grade or younger.
The rain date for the event is Saturday, October 12.
Martin's Brook Park is located on Butler Parkway (near intersection of Canoe Brook Place).
