SUMMIT, NJ - Consider this the official 48-hour naughty or nice warning.

Santa Claus, aka Dedt Moroz, Papai Noel, Hoteiosho, and Father Christmas, will make his annual pre-Christmas Eve pre-flight to the Hilltop City on December 7, arriving at the Village Green at 5:30 p.m. to assist Mayor Nora Radest in lighting Summit's holiday tree.

While he is in the 07901, Kris Kringle will stick around to take pictures with the kiddos as part of the annual festivities hosted by the Summit YMCA.

Among the winter wonders -- all taking place from 5:30 - 7:30 p.m. -- will be holiday music, a reading of 'Twas the Night Before Christmas. hot chocolate. The Summit YMCA will be collecting men's winter hats and gloves, which will be donated to Bridges Outreach.

The event, and all related activities are free and open to the public. Those attending are advised that portions of Maple Street by the Village Green will be closed during the event.
