PHILLIPSBURG, NJ - They came, they debated, they dominated.

The Summit Speech and Debate team surged to a First Place Sweepstakes victory by a whopping 50 points at the Phillipsburg High School, their  first local tournament of the season.

The team took home 40 individual trophies and several top non-advancing novice medals.
