SUMMIT, NJ - The Summit Public Schools will host 'Incoming Student Ninth Grade Parent Night' -- for parents and guardians of students set to attend Summit High School in the fall of 2020 - on January 9 in the school's Auditorium on the Kent Place Boulevard campus.

Tours, led by peer leaders, begin at 6:15 p.m. and the program starts at 7 p.m. Members of the Summit High School administration and staff members will be on hand.

Designed to welcome families to the high school and to help each family during the transition period from the middle school to the high school, the event affords an opportunity to introduce families to Summit High School through both tours and an activities fair. Administrators will provide details on the high school's expectations, policies, and procedures. Supervisors from each of the academic departments will present an overview of the Program of Studies and information about course offerings.
