SUMMIT, NJ - The end of the 2018-19 school year is fast approaching and summer break is right around the corner, which means that the Summit Public Schools' FLASH program is soon to begin. A limited number of spots remain for all three FLASH programs: FLASH Jr., FLASH 4-8 and FLASH Sports Academy.
FLASH Jr. and FLASH 4-8 each run from July 1-25, and FLASH Sports Academy takes place June 24-27.
FLASH Jr. -- available to students entering grades 2 & 3 in September -- and FLASH 4-8 take place at the same location. Students select a five-course schedule from a variety of course electives. Course offerings appeal to many interests such as musical talents, creative thinking, design, technology, performing arts, athletics, and more.
FLASH Sports Academy provides students entering Grades 1-8 the opportunity to participate in various four-day sports clinics led by coaching-staff members that take place at different locations throughout the Hilltop City community. Regardless of skill or age, students receive individualized and team instruction designed to maximize their potential. Participants will be grouped by ability level so they receive the most appropriate level of instruction and guidance. Each day will be completely organized and focused on established objectives, covering all phases of the game.
Registration and fee information for all FLASH programs is available by visiting summitflash.com/registration.
