SUMMIT, NJ - SAGE Eldercare and the Alzheimer's Association will host a program dedicated to 'Communicating with Alzheimer's Disease' on June 18, 2 - 3 p.m.
Attendees will learn about the communication changes that take place throughout the course of the disease and hear ways that they can decode the verbal and behavioral messages delivered by someone with dementia, responding in ways that are helpful while identifying strategies to connect and communicate at each stage of the disease.
The free program is open to all, with registration required and available by calling 800-272-3900.
